Favorite

I was driving back from the grocery store with Nora last night and she told me she really loved me. I said why since I was frustrated  with her at the store so I wanted to hear why- she said because you are really nice. She mentioned she loved daddy too- he is very nice as well. Then I asked about her brothers- she said Chase is her favorite brother and Andrew is her meanest brother. Andrew gets frustrated with her and does not play with her- Chase is much more patient with her and actually tries to play with her. He is a good middle brother- he gets all the wrestling from Andrew and then gets Nora's craziness. He takes it all in stride most of the time. Nora mentioned that Andrew will say Nora if you give me some of your candyI will play ring around the rosie and play with you. Nora gives him the candy and he doesn't play with her. I told Andrew this and he laughed. He thought it was funny she picked up on his lines and both Andrew and Chase were working hard this morning to be the favorite brother. Nora is a lucky girl.

May Dinner Menu

I will be keeping a running menu as guests respond for the party. Here is what we have so far:

May Evening Out

Instead of just a ladies night out we are looking to have a couples night out in May to give both parties a chance to mingle. (Please note a significant other is not required to attend.) A wonderful host family for the party has come forward so we have set a date of May 29th at 7:00 at the Carnahan Home, 753 Fortacre St. Dinner will be potluck style with an Italian theme. The host family is providing pop, water and garlic bread. Please RSVP to Erika Patalon at 563-1024 or elberkho@yahoo.com with number attending and your contribution to the party. April Celebration

Fun was had by old and young alike at Palm Vistas April Celebration held at the community park area. A special thanks goes out to Rachel Jordan and her assistants for a wonderul event! I have a attached a few photos for everyone to enjoy.

Roseholm Park

Andrew has his last soccer game tomorrow and the end of season party will be at our house and so a lot of kids will be in the park playing soccer. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you live on my street and wonder why all the cars are here and where all the kids came from? It should last from 12:30- 1:30 or so and any kids are welcome to join them. Let's hope they have a good game!!

Halloween Party

I don't have many pictures myself but hope to get some more in the next few days. I took these from Stephanies's blog (thank you Stephanie) and if anyone has some please email me so I can post some more pictures. As you can see it was a great turnout and it was a great day- not too windy or too hot.

Palm Vistas

Since this is a new neighborhood and we have a lot of construction traffic I thought it may be a good idea to have a neighborhood blog. This will allow us to share information of things going on in the neighborhood. If anyone sees cars that do not belong here or people that look like they don't live here please leave a comment.
